The Port Owen Yacht club is popular as a venue for weddings, meetings and other events. The clubhouse is spacious, and there is an outside tented boma as well. The kitchen is well-appointed with two large stoves, cutlery and crockery for over 100 people, and an optional bar service. Draping for the clubhouse ceilings and walls, and chair covers, are available too if required. This makes the club a one-stop venue, making it easy to hold an event.
