POYC Weekly activities and menu 11 to 15 February 2019

Dear Members,

Anne, Martin and Erna cooked a delightful meal on Friday night: the flavours were divine:  everyone thoroughly enjoyed it, and a lot of praise was given.

On Sunday the Kruispad Kruze proved to be a wonderfully relaxing and sociable day: we all look forward to the repeat of this very special event next year.

Snoek braai – Please also join in the snoek braai which we are laying on for the River Race on Saturday evening – we will have a beef noodle dish and a vegetarian lasagne for those who are not fond of snoek. You can book for this meal with Dariol or Joan by Friday 12:00.

Friday 15 February 2019: Menu: We are celebrating Valentine’s Day!  The dinner will be a special treat.

Starter: Tuna mousse with Melba toast.

Main course: Pork schnitzel with a choice of mushroom or cheese sauce, smashed potatoes, peas, baby carrots. If you do not eat pork please let us know and we will prepare a chicken schnitzel for you.

Dessert: Black velvet cheesecake. Cost: R85.00 per person.
